Governed Autonomy

The software practice of Ikosi. The same geometric logic that structures a building, turned toward the governance of autonomous AI agents.

The Tri-Layered Orchestration Mesh is a safe promotion pipeline for machine-proposed change. Agents explore freely inside a sealed exploratory fringe. Every proposal they raise is gated, signed and blast-radius-classified by a heuristic buffer. Only reversible, corroborated change reaches a deterministic core that stays symbolic, auditable and rollback-guaranteed. Emergence is made observable, not suppressed — a covert channel of unread messages is the failure; a sanctioned, logged channel is the product.

Proposals rise · the buffer gates · only reversible, corroborated change reaches the core
Layer 3
Exploratory Fringe
Sandboxed agents behind a default-deny network. They explore and propose over a typed, rate-limited Discovery Bus — the only lateral path, and it is read.
Layer 2
Heuristic Buffer
The gate. Signed provenance, blast-radius and reversibility classification, standing-based promotion, a meta-gate on the apparatus itself, and the kill-switch.
Layer 1
Deterministic Core
Symbolic and deterministic. Every promoted change is reversible against a signed known-good baseline. The invariant nothing is allowed to void.
